The following calendar, in case of different arrangements by the University's central offices, may be subject to some changes.
Within the calendar, dates related to:

CLASSES
First semester: Monday, 21 September 2026 to Saturday, 12 December 2026 (14-19 December for any make-up classes)
Holiday breaks: Monday, 7 and Tuesday 8 December 2025
Second semester: from Monday,15 February 2027 to Saturday, 15 May 2027
Holidays: break for Easter holidays from Thursday, 25 March to Tuesday, 30 April 2027 (inclusive); Saturday 1 May 2027.
EXAMINATION SESSIONS
According to the provisions of the Student Regulations - https://www.uniroma1.it/it/content/esami-di-profitto - students may take examinations of a subject of their year of study only after the lectures of the relevant teaching module have ended (regardless of whether they are attending students or not).
From Thursday 7 January 2027 to Saturday, 13 February 2027: 3 exam sessions for all courses delivered up to A.Y. 2025/2026, and for all subjects whose courses were held in the first semester of A.Y. 2026/2027
Please note: in order to ensure that students can meet the deadlines to apply for graduation for the March 2027 session in the administrative office, the first of the three appeals must necessarily be scheduled, carried out and recorded, at least for undergraduates, by Saturday, 16 January 2027. All appeals held on dates after Wednesday 31 March 2027, even if they relate to courses delivered in previous academic years, may only be recorded on the records of the 2026-2027 academic year
N.B. With reference to the extension of the 2025/2026 academic year until March 31, 2027, please note that: Students intending to enroll in a Sapienza Master's Degree (Laurea Magistrale) in 2026/2027 must nonetheless obtain their Bachelor's degree no later than the December 2026/January 2027 graduation session.
From Thursday 8 April 2027 to Friday 20 April 2027 (Special Session) 1 exam session for all courses delivered until A.Y. 2025/2026 and subjects 2026/2027 whose courses were held in the first semester reserved for:
- Students behind schedule (fuori corso) (they will be able to take all the exams degree program system);
- Students enrolled in Part Time mode (they will be able to take all exams whose courses have already been delivered in previous years or the first semester of the current year);
- Students enrolled in single courses 2026/2027;
- Incoming Erasmus students (may take all exams whose teachings have already been delivered in previous years or the first semester of the current year);
- Students with disabilities or DSA (may take all exams whose teachings have already been delivered in previous years or the first semester of the current year);
- Students who are mothers and students who are fathers with child(ren) under the age of three (will be able to take all examinations whose teachings have already been delivered in previous years or to the first semester of the current year);
- pregnant students (will be able to take all exams whose teachings have already been delivered in previous years or to the first semester of the current year);
- working students (may take all exams whose teachings have already been delivered in previous years or to the first semester of the current year);
- students who have athlete status, as defined in Article 25 paragraph 6 of Sapienza Student Regulations - (may take all exams whose teachings have already been delivered in previous years or the first semester of the current year);
- students who are concurrently enrolled in two courses of study, as defined in Art. 9 of the Sapienza Student Regulations - (may take all examinations whose teachings have already been delivered in previous years or the first semester of the current year);
- students who have qualified as caregivers or young caregivers pursuant to current regulations, upon presentation of appropriate documentation certifying their status (SA Resolution 11 March 2025).
From Thursday, 3 June 2027 to Saturday, 17 July 2027 (Summer Session): 3 exam sessions of all subjects delivered up to a.y. 2026-2027. By 17 July 2027, all examinations must be taken and recorded.Please note: in order to ensure that students can meet the deadlines to be able to participate in the July 2027 graduation session, the first of the three appeals must necessarily be scheduled, taken and recorded, at least for undergraduates, by Saturday, 12 June 2027.
From Wednesday 1 September 2027 to Saturday 11 September 2027 (Autumn Session): 1 exam session of all subjects delivered up to A.Y. 2026-2027.
From Monday 11 October 2027 to Saturday 6 November 2027 (Extraordinary Session) - 1 exam session for all courses delivered up to a.y. 2026/2027 reserved for:
- Three-year undergraduates of the December 2027/ January 2028 session (may take the last exam for a maximum of 9 cfu);
- Undergraduates of Specialistica/Magistrale and Old Order Quinquennale of the session of December 2027/ January 2028 (they can take the last exam for a maximum of 9 cfu if of degree program version 270);
- Students behind schedule (fuori corso) (all exams in their degree program system);
- students enrolled in Part Time mode (all exams under their degree program system);

- Fuori Corso students (they will be able to take all the exams degree program system);
- Students enrolled in Part Time mode (they will be able to take all exams whose courses have already been delivered in previous years or the first semester of the current year);
- Students enrolled in single courses 2025/2026;
- Incoming Erasmus students (may take all exams whose teachings have already been delivered in previous years or the first semester of the current year);
- Students with disabilities or DSA (may take all exams whose teachings have already been delivered in previous years or the first semester of the current year);

Please note: in order to ensure that students can meet the deadlines to be able to participate in the July 2026 graduation session, the first of the three appeals must necessarily be scheduled, taken and recorded, at least for undergraduates, by Saturday, 13 June 2026.
From Tuesday, 1 September 2026 to Saturday, 12 September 2026 (Autumn Session): 1 exam session of all subjects delivered up to A.Y. 2025-2026.
From Monday, 12 October 2026 to Saturday, 7 November 2026 (Extraordinary Session) - 1 exam session for all courses delivered up to a.y. 2025/2026 reserved for:

Starting from Monday, 2 February 2026, the appeals for these teachings will be held by faculty members who have acquired tenure for the a.y. 2025/2026. Appeals related to a.y. 2024/2025 teachings no longer provided in a.y. 2025/2026 will still be guaranteed.
