Our department has been teaching and conducting research in the field of social studies and communications for over 25 years.
Our strong interdisciplinary approach leads to a rich educational offering: the different programs share the goal of training professionals with a solid base yet flexible mindset, linking the theories and methods of media research and sociology in their various forms, with the strategic contributions of knowledge from marketing, law and economics, social psychology and semiotics, as well as historical sciences and computer science.
These areas of study make up the backbone of our Bachelor and Master’s degrees, and are oriented toward public/institutional, business and third sector communications; media system professions, from journalism to contemporary media industries; international development cooperation and program evaluation for organizations.
Our training programs are constantly tested through dialogue and interaction with stakeholders and external professionals, along with careful monitoring of labor market responses. An offering that is enriched, year after year, also thanks to the insights, curiosity, and informal knowledge that our students bring. They are the true protagonists on this path of personal and professional growth that are at the core of our courses.
