Curriculum

Luca Dezi Full Professor since 2001, currently holding the chairs in Economics and Management Tools for Business and Business Strategy at Sapienza University of Rome, Faculty of Political Science, Sociology and Communication. Scientific-disciplinary sector SECS-P/08 – Business Management, now classified as ECON-07/A – Business Management.

  • Chartered Accountant.
  • Statutory Auditor.
  • Member of academic committees for selection procedures and doctoral programs.
  • Lecturer in PhD programs.
  • Lecturer in various university Master’s programs.
  • Principal investigator and participant in numerous national and international research projects.
  • Member of the Board of Auditors of the San Giovanni Addolorata Hospital in Rome from 2007 to 2011.
  • Ordinary member of the Italian Academy of Business Administration and Management (AIDEA).
  • Member of SIMA, the Italian Society of Management.

He provides consulting services in economic–financial analysis, management planning and control, business and project valuation, corporate restructuring, mediation, resource optimization and management, as well as teaching and training activities on behalf of small, medium, and large enterprises, public bodies, and institutions. His areas of expertise include hospital, healthcare, and pharmaceutical management, artificial intelligence, digital and energy innovation, and internationalization.

Responsabilities

For the purposes of Art. 4 of the Department Regulations, the Director of the Department:

  • annually schedules the needs of teaching and technical-administrative personnel for the implementation of the Department's teaching and research programs;
  • proposes the Department's annual research plan and the possible organization of departmental, interdepartmental and interuniversity research centers;
  • directs and organizes the technical-administrative staff;
  • makes available the necessary means and equipment for the preparation of doctoral research students and to enable the preparation of dissertations;
  • orders instruments, works, materials, including bibliographical materials, and whatever else it deems necessary for the proper functioning of the Department and arranges for the payment of related invoices;
  • with the Delegated Administrative Officer, presents the budget and final accounts to the Department Council.
